United States of America (Press Release) April 25, 2008 -- "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE"
Baker University has announced a strategic partnership with Redwood Education Services, Inc. in order to help fulfill the current gap in today’s learning environment where military and civilian individuals seek vocational training that relates to the current trends in technology. Today large telecom companies and other corporations are looking for individuals who hold industry recognized certifications in the fields of Fiber Optics, Aerospace, Information Technology, and SmartHome installations.

We have seen a major trend in the highly competitive telecommunication industry where everyone wants the consumer to purchase their three part packages of voice, video and data. With this large push there is a need for skilled certified technicians to help meet this large demand. Even existing employees of these large players are seeking means to get certified in fiber optics to help with their day-to-day activities and they are willing to take the training on their own time. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of companies providing online certification training in this field that gives these individuals the flexibility to take this training while still meeting the demands of their everyday life.

New construction and building retrofits are starting to see an upswing in consumers wanting to have all of their home systems controlled in one central location be it their lighting, audiovisual, heating or security. We feel that this partnership allows us to help fill the demand for skilled laborers to work with this new technology.
